Meet Our Speech Therapists

Dana Jeter Williams, MCD/CCC-SLP

Dana, a Zwolle native is the mother of four children: Bella, Luke, Zac and Nola Kae.  She initially became a speech language pathologist so she could help her oldest daughter “Bella” who was born with profound sensorineural hearing loss. Dana loves advocating not only for her child but other families especially those families that need assistance with IEP communication plans due to hard of hearing!  Dana opened Jeter Therapy Group in the beginning of 2020 shortly before the pandemic hit.  Prior to opening her brick-n-mortar she worked out of her car providing services to those in need throughout the rural north Louisiana parishes. 


Fun Fact: She loves going on adventures with her husband, Alan and their children.  She also enjoys traveling to music festivals or concerts all over the U.S. 

Riley  McDaniel, MA, CCC-SLP

Riley received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees for LA TECH in Ruston, LA. She is passionate about helping others achieve success.  She has experience with evaluating and treating ASD, feeding/swallowing disorders and has a profound interest in learning more so she can help others.  Riley has a heart of GOLD and is shows in her sessions.

Fun Fact:  Riley is a twin! She recently married Levi! 

Taylor Swinford,  MS/CCC-SLP

Taylor got her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hope College in Holland MI and her masters in Speech Language Pathology at Elmhurst College Chicago, IL.  She became an SLP after watching her aunt (also an SLP) raise her cousin diagnosed with Cir Du Chat Syndrome to communicate when so many said he never would. She has moved all over, including the Caribbean, London, and Florida. She and her husband now live in Shreveport with their two little ones. She has experience working in hospital, home health, pediatric clinics, autism classrooms, and more.  She loves what she does and helping others communicate to their full potential!  

Casey Cherry, MS/CCC-SLP

Casey is a military spouse and mother of two precious children, Kenley and Cameron. Before receiving her masters degree in communication disorders from Baylor University, she was a language arts teacher who shared her ️ of language and communication with preschool through high school students. It was during this time when she recognized her calling to become a Speech Language Pathologist. 

Fun Fact: Casey also enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities and all things tropical.

Kelsey Abbas, MS/CCC-SLP

Kelsey is a New Orleans transplant who is a mother of three lovely little ladies.  She is a passionate and caring person who adores helping others.  


Fun Fact: She is not the only SLP that drives that sweet mom MINI VAN in our Shreveport clinic.

Alison Kidwell, SLP-A

Alison was born in Dover, Delaware and moved to Bossier City, Louisiana in 2006. She comes from a military family and has gotten to live in Hawaii and Iceland for 4 years before moving to Louisiana. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and SLP-A license at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and plans to pursue my Master's degree. She loves being able to build relationships with clients and see them grow in their communication skills 


Fun Fact: I am allergic to cold air & water, also known as coldurticuria! 


Mary Katherine Witherington B.S., SLP-A

Mary Katherine is a Bossier native who currently attends LA TECH pursuing her undergraduate pre-professional speech language pathology degree.  She is helping out in the front office and as a therapy tech so she can learn as much as possible before entering a graduate program! She is a natural with the clients and will be an amazing therapist one day! 

Fun Fact: Mary Katherine loves helping animals and may have accidentally given a kitten a free ride from Shreveport to Bossier, but don't tell her parents because she tried to get it to come out from beneath her car! 

Ciara Felton, B.A., SLP-A

Ciara is from Shreveport, Louisiana. She received my Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Professional Speech Language Pathology & a minor in Family and Child Studies from Louisiana Tech University. There are so many settings a SLP-A can work in, but she has always wanted to work with children. She loves to make therapy fun and exciting for all of her clients. During her leisure time , she enjoys relaxing, self-care and spending time with her dog, Bojangles. She loves animals, and she would love to open up a dog sanctuary elderly dogs one day. 


Fun Fact: She has been a Pescatarian for 12 years !

 


Meet Our Occupational  Therapists




Suzanne Olah, MOT, OTR/L

Suzanne has always had a passion for helping others and found her calling as a Occupational Therapist.

Kaitlin Prosinski, MOT, OTR/L

Grew up in Milton, Florida and have lived in 5 states. In 2016 she graduated from the University of South Alabama MOT program. She decided in middle school that she wanted to be an OT and never changed my mind. She did Early Intervention in New Mexico for two and a half years.  Kaitlin's favorite part of being an OT is helping kids reach their full potential. She loves incorporating sensory activities into play and making functional, real-life tasks fun for kids.

Fun fact: "I’m a coffee addict and never go a day without it!"

Erin Scantlin, COTA/L

Erin is a graduate of BPCC OTA program. She will also graduate in a bachelors is Psychology in May 2022.  Erin has always wanted to work with children and she feels grateful that being a COTA allows her to do so. She loves being creative in therapy while working on skills that are crucial for development.  

Fun fact: Two of her favorite things are sweet tea and sleep.

Emilee Powers, COTA/L

Emilee lives in Haughton, Louisiana with her husband and her daughter, Teagan. She graduated from the BPCC OTA program in 2018. She has 3 years of experience working in a pediatric clinic. Her favorite thing about Occupational Therapy is forming relationships with her patients and helping them reach their full potential. 

Fun fact: Emilee lived in England for a year!

Kerri Brooks, COTA/L

Keri has been an OTA for 8 years working mainly in adult inpatient settings. She is excited to be working full time in pediatrics and grow as a therapist. 




Fun Fact: She likes to listen to ROCK music for relaxation!


Le'Asia Bailey, COTA/L


Le’Asia was originally born in Mississippi, but raised in Bossier City for the most of her life. She received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from LSU (2019) and then, graduated from BPCC’s OTA Program  in December 2022. She chose Occupational Therapy because she wanted to make a mark in her patients’ and community’s lives by helping them fulfill their goals. She wants to thrive as much as possible while making an impact as a new therapist. 

Fun Fact: Asia is a LSU graduate!

Lily Stone, COTA/L

Lily received her associate’s degree in occupational therapy assisting in May 2022 from Panola College. During high school, Lily worked with special needs children as a teacher’s aide which inspired her to pursue occupational therapy as her career. Lily hopes to continue her education in OT and develop a dance therapy program for children in the future. Seeing the joy of children reach their full potential is so special!

Meet our Physical Therapy team!

Elizabeth Wall, PT

Elizabeth has been a physical therapist for 20+ years! She has experience with both adults and pediatric care; however pediatrics is her passion. Elizabeth has four children of her own which she is very proud of! She loves helping families throughout the north Louisiana region and also provides services through the Louisiana intervention program, Early Steps! 

Fun Fact: Elizabeth is not only a LA TECH fan but she is a Baylor fan!

Lisa Beard, PTA

Lisa is a physical therapist assistant (PTA) with more than 6 years experience. She has a wonderful husband and one handsome little boy. She enjoys all kinds of different life experiences especially anything to do with history and travel. She loves Pinterest and hopes to start making more of her pins than just pinning! 


Fun Fact: I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio but have lived in Louisiana almost as long as there.



Rebekah Cole, DPT

Rebekah is from Paris, TX. She attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Performance in 2018. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from LSU Health Sciences in Shreveport, LA in 2022. She is married to my husband of 4 years and they have two sons. She has a passion for pediatric physical therapy because of the love to help kids accomplish their goals & dreams!

Fun Fact: She is passionate about car seat safety! She is also a super mom and supports breastfeeding moms!


Bethany Churchill, PTA

Before Bethany moved to Louisiana in 2021, she lived in a very small town of Divide, Colorado (population 162).  Some of her hobbies include: hiking, reading, playing the piano, crocheting and spend time with family. She graduated in 2023 from BPCC's PTA program.  She has always loved caring for kids in her church, family and community. She is so excited to be able to work in a pediatric therapy setting and help kids reach their goals.

Fun Fact: Bethany used to live in the mountains at almost 9,000 feet elevation!

Courtland Dilley

Patient Coordinator

Courtland received my BA in 2020 for pre-professional speech pathology.  She is also a icensed as an SLP-A. She loves traveling and looks forward to getting her masters degree in commuication disorders. 


Fun Facts: She recently got engaged and has one fur baby named Obi Ward Kenobi. 

Christy Bailey

Patient Coordinator

Christy was born and raised in Alexandria, La. She is a wife and mother of 3 amazing kids and mother-in-law to the best son-in-law. She is so excited about becoming a first-time grandma in 2023. Christy has worked in a pediatric therapy setting since 2015. Her favorite part of her job is building relationships with our families and seeing the excitement from their children’s progress. “I’ve witnessed some truly beautiful moments over the years.”

Fun fact: Christy married her husband of 27 years after dating for 2 weeks.

Kristen 

Administrative Billing Specialist

Kristen and her husband Jonah have two amazing children. She likes spending time with her family, watching TV, reading, and watching TikToks. She loves going to dance events to see her daughter perform. She loves to help others but also says she is an introvert. Some of her favorite downtime activities are watching anime and cartoons.  Kristen loves any shade of blue and green mixed together. 

Fun Fact: she loves squishmallows and  working with numbers.

Kae Jeter

Ms. Kae is retired from Kilpatrick Life Insurance were she worked for 30+ years.  She has five children and fourteen grandchildren. She has a passion for remodeling and is helping get the new properties ready to open !


Fun Fact: Ms. Kae likes going to Cruising on the Coast yearly. She is also a twin!

Kasey Jones

Billing Specialist

Kasey is a Shreveport/Bossier native who loves her job here at Jeter Therapy while in pursuit of continuing her education in therapy. She is a new mom to a baby girl and a dog mom to a golden retriever and a lab mix. Kasey’s passion for therapy stemmed from a life threatening car accident she was in a few years ago, she has received multiple forms of therapy herself. She enjoys living the lake life with her family and is an avid coffee drinker. 


Fun Fact: She is ‘bionic’- three of her limbs were shattered & she is primarily made of metal from her car accident.
