Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients
Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
Update patient progress to relevant parties
Research related speech and language problems
Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana Speech Language Pathology License
Familiarity with communication disorders

Responsibilities:
Review patients’ medical history and asses their condition and needs
Evaluate patients' abilities and develop a treatment plan for patients with specific goals and tasks
Confer with physicians, patients and their families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other members of a patient's care team
Guide patients to perform tasks to meet their goals
Educate a patient’s family about how to help care for and accommodate them
Recommend and teach patients how to use adaptive equipment that will help them with daily living, such as wheelchairs and eating aids
Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners Occupational Therapy License

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist who is motivated and energetic to join our team! You will be answering incoming calls, greeting and checking in all patients for office appointments, scanning insurance cards, entering all demographic information into the electronic health record, entering referrals for office visits into EMR, scanning for staff as needed, and working closely with providers.

Responsibilities:
Greets and directs all patients
Obtains patient demographic and verifying insurance information
Obtain necessary patient information to meet current Federal guidelines and Meaningful Use guidelines for electronic medical records.
Scan pertinent patient information into EMR including patient authorizations, recent labs delivered by patient, etc.
Obtain patient authorization for medical records release (HIPAA compliance).
Schedule any necessary appointments after completion of patient visit.
Monitor and review patient schedules for next day office appointments.
Identify and resolve minor patient billing complaints.
Assists in ordering, receiving and stocking of office supplies.
Maintaining cleanliness of waiting room & exam rooms.
Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $12/hr +
